New wheels!

I am one proud mama!!!  Another one working full time, and able to afford their own ride!!! Yayyy, for freedom!

Making these little cuties with a pattern I got from a knitting group I'm in. The orange one is in memory of our Mawmaw cat that just passed away in January and the black and white is just like our kitty Mudge/Oreo.  Might make a bunch more of these soon! <3

 

A Gift

A few years ago a dear sweet friend of mine passed away. Her family sent me some items they thought she would like me to have and I have them at my desk and cherish them. Then last year I heard there was a bit of a yarn stash that some other friends had acquired, and they wanted me to also have that. They know me + yarn = fabulous things! So this yarn slowly worked it's way through several of mine and Hollys mutual friends until yesterday I met with another of our friends that was finally able to deliver to me the gift of Hollys yarn stash. I am overwhelmed and blessed!!! It's not very much considering my own amassed collection of yarny goodness.  But there is this box...

And then this absolute treasure trove. Yes, my children are already laying claim to this gorgeous box, but this is one thing I am not giving up just yet. lol

Inside there was a jumbo skein of bouclé yarn, and then everything cotton, and a few thread yarns...

So, I will be doing a whole series of all the Holly projects that come from these yarns. I hope to find just the right homes for all the items. My hope is to bless as many people as possible! I've already started two projects!!! More soon!
