Crocheting things

So, last year I worked on using up a lot of  my scrap yarn making scrappy granny squares, and also I joined the Jayda in Stitches challenge on Youtube to make a Mighty Mile a Minute blanket. I made many many mile a minute strips, and also kept up with the challenge of one new pattern a month, and put together the actual blanket by the end of the year! Here is a small picture of the last of it (I'll get a full picture soon)...

Now I have two totes with just a bunch of mile a minute panels from my favorite two mile a minute patterns from the year. I will get those hooked together and posted soon. I also have two BIG totes of the granny squares to put together. I think I can get a couple of queen size bed spreads out of all of them.

Right now, I am working on un-stuffing my finished projects bags! It feels like I have been stuck for a few years, and I do enjoy making more and more things... but sadly, I have not been sending much of it out. Some because of the pandemic, but also because I am just lousy at getting things addressed and packed up. But I have gotten the ends woven in on lots of hats and mitts, and sent some off to a couple of places, and then gave gobs of them away to a local place that helps the homeless in my area.  Here is what was given in November and December, and I still have a bit left to do. Luckily winter isn't over yet!

And here's a bit of some fun I had during the holidays. My daughter found a place locally that I could sell some gnomes, and other amigurumi things we had both made.  It was so wonderful to have some local feedback about these, and that's also what kind of got me wishing I had a blog again. So I had been making these little gnomes all through the Fall last year, and then Halloween came around and I started making some cauldrons for them too. 😁

And here's some more things that I have made for a RaoK group that I've joined. Yep, they will all be left around town for people to just find and hopefully brighten their day!

And so, this blog begins!!!✌

Making Cording

Since my fall I haven't been able to do too much of any crafting, because of the aches and pains and bruising. Truly, I've just been...
